Critical Care Links
- The Laryngeal Mask Airway (LMA) site
- Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support Simulator - two cases, could use more, but good
- Cardiopulmonary Education for Pediatric Intensive Care - maintained by David Walker, RRT out of Fresno-Children's. Contains lots of pulmonary and ventilatory physiology
- Society for Critical Care Medicine
- Kansas University Medical Center - Pediatric Cardiology and Critical Care Teaching Resources - very cardiology oriented, but good in detail.
- ECMO Manual - OK, so it's in Norwegian, but it seems nice and thorough.
- PICUBOOK.net - from the Peds CCM web-site, Edited by Joe DiCarlo, MD a graduate of the University of Minnesota Pediatric Residency Program
- Medical Calculators from Cornell University (Steve Pon, MD) - A very handy resource including emergency drugs (needs Java capable browser)
- The Virtual PICU - a relatively new nationwide collaboration of PICU's and Pediatric Intensivists with several goals, including improvement of care of patients and education of intensivists
