Why Are We Doing This Study?

The completion of the Human Genome Project in 2003 has led to an explosion in the study of genes and disease, but we still don’t know a lot about what genes are involved in making a child grow and develop normally. The Gopher Kids Study aims to fill that gap and will also be a way to monitor the health of Minnesota’s children.
